GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Network and Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day organization and coordination of office operations and activities in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The Network and Office Manager also supports the organization’s marketing and outreach initiatives and efforts.

WORK DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Office Administration

  • Manage and maintain organization of office space
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies and inventory
  • Manage and maintain digital and physical filing systems and records
  • Process mail, invoices and bank statements; serve as liaison to Controller and Venture Back Office
  • Manage other vendor relationships and software tools
  • Manage general (generic) email accounts and office calendars
  • Maintain CRM, including data entry and report management

Network Engagement

  • Communicate and engage with various IDEA Fund Partners constituents, including investors, companies, entrepreneurs, partners and others
  • Manage and oversee planning, logistics, marketing coverage and invite administration for various internal and external outreach events
  • Schedule and coordinate logistics for various meetings and appointments, including pitch meetings, quarterly socials and IDEA Pitch events
  • Assist with managing the collection and aggregation of portfolio company data, including quarterly financials, updated capitalization tables, budgets and other various items
  • Assist with onboarding and oversight of interns
  • Serve as a representative of organization at various community events 

Marketing Assistance

  • Coordinate content development and distribution of marketing materials, including but not limited to website, blog updates, newsletter, email campaigns and press releases
  • Manage and maintain marketing calendar
  • Ensure consistent, regular activity on all social media channels, including but not limited to Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Maintain and update website; compile monthly analytics reports
  • Maintain library of marketing materials, including photos, standard content, templates and presentations
  • Ensure marketing compliance and consistency with regard to name and logo usage, both internally and externally
  • Maintain media/press contacts and marketing email lists

Other Responsibilities

  • Support the Managing Partners with various administrative tasks, including scheduling and correspondence as requested
  • Coordinate various ad hoc projects supporting strategic initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
